Happy December!

Hey all! Happy December. (And yes, I do realize it is half over). I survived finals and I indeed passed all my classes. So grateful for that one. Now I just have to get through the second semester of Music History. But it should be fun. This week has been busy with work. Textbooks have been steady and crazy. But we are almost done. We should be done by the 22nd so I can go home for Christmas and hopefully stay for a while. So keep your fingers crossed. I just got home from a concert at Parowan High School (I volunteer and observe there frequently. I am hoping to be able to do my student teaching there under the fabulous Carylee Zwang) I think the kids did great! I am so proud of them. This next semester I am looking forward to being a soloist in a concerto night with the orchestra here at SUU. I am so excited for this opportunity. It should be great! Kris and I are doing great, as always. We made gingerbread houses last week. He made his look like a pyramid from Egypt with a sacrificial altar in the front (with a swedish fish as the sacrifice, and a sacrifice indeed it was) But all in all things are going great. I can't WAIT to get home and see all my family again. Until then I hope you all have a merry Christmas and Happy New Year. And please don't forget who this time of year is really about. Remember what Christ did for us, and without him we could not live an eternal life. He is such a wonderful example and I am grateful to call him my Brother.
